Sales Representative

The Sales Representative is responsible for executing sales strategy and initiating and maintaining contact with customers resulting in sales. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Grow new and existing account base, penetrate new markets and develop & maintain business relationships with customers
  • Achieve sales goals
  • Secure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment
  • Ability to execute operational duties to effectively manage a wholesale business, track selling, monitor markdowns, place & track orders
  • Accumulating and analyzing weekly sales and stock levels for recommendations based on information gathered.
  • Develop and implement business/product strategies to optimize sales and profit for the retailer and our Company
  • Communicate and review with each account on a regular basis for new and re-orders, on order management,  shipping, changes in distribution & deliveries, acceleration of early shoes, cancellations 
  • Additional responsibilities as needed.



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 + years wholesale footwear experience required (experience with both majors and independents preferred)
  • Strong Microsoft excel skills
  • Strong selling & negotiating skills
  • Ability to perform complex verbal and written communications face to face and in group settings
